They are opened from Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Friday from 9.00am to 4pm. The cost of the marriage licence is JA$4,000 Jamaican dollars which are subject to change.
Upon receiving the marriage licence, you can proceed in planning your wedding, however, notify the registrar when you apply for your licence.
Non-denominational Marriage Officers (registrars) can officiate either at their offices or a place chosen by you, and they are able to provide witnesses. Marriage Officers charge between US $50 to US $250.
