Jamaica Tourist Information :: Variety of hotels

Please note that facilities and standards can vary between hotels of the the same rating. For example hotels not located in the prime areas can have higher standards overhall than a beach resort located in the heart of a resort town.

The hotels we feature are generally open all year-round so you can travel at whatever time you wish. This enables you to take advantage of down season when prices are lower, beaches are less crowed and more quiet. In low season however some hotels might scale back in operation for example closing a restaurant or facility.

Jamaica Tourist Information :: Beds in Hotels

Most hotels will have rollaway beds if this is required. This might however attract a minimum fee. Beds in rooms will range from two twin or two double beds in a room to one king size or super size king bed in larger resorts.

Some hoteliers of hotels and other properties do not allow under 21s in a room by themselves - please check with us before any booking is made should you be under 21.

Jamaica Tourist Information :: Check-in/check-out information

The standard practice is to let rooms from midday on the day of your arrival to mid-day on the day that you check out. However, times do vary at different hotels for example some hotels will require you to check in at 2:00 or 3pm.
