I might need to hire a car when I am in the island. Could you recommend some companies and how old do I need to be?
Although the minimum age to obtain a drivers licence in Jamaica is 17, renters must be 21 (some companies will only rent to 25 and over). You must have a valid International Driver's License or a current license for your home country or state valid up to 6 months.
