There are two major international Jamaica airports being served by major airlines. The Donald Sangsters International airport in Montego Bay Jamaica and The Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

The Donald Sangsters International Airport is a major hub for airlines such as British Airways, American Airlines, Virgin, Martinair Holland and KLM. Majority of visitors to Jamaica comes through the Donald Sangsters Airport to various resort destinations such as Negril, Treasure Beach, Trelawny and Ocho Rios as most visitors staying at hotels at the western side of Jamaica comes through the Donald Sangsters Airport. For visitors going East of Jamaica, The Norman Manley Airport is the best choice as it is cheaper to get to Port Antonio from here.

There are smaller Jamaica airports providing intra-island services. Should you be arriving at Norman Manley International Airport you may need to take a taxi or a JUTA bus to the Tinsen Pen Areodrome to catch your domestic flight. Better yet coming into Montego Bay is easier as you can arrange your intra island link with International Airlink quite easily.

Drive time from the Jamaica airports are - 5 minutes drive from the Donald Sangsters Airport in Montego Bay onto Gloucester Avenue downtown where the majority of hotels in Montego Bay and 40 minutes drive in peak traffic to New Kingston from the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.
