However, the time has now come for us to announce our charges for advertising – before we do please allow us time to explain what we have achieved over the last few months:
- www.sejamaicacheaply.com is now being found on major search engines like Yahoo, MSN and especially Google and have an extensive advertising campaign on Google. The process is a major part of our ongoing marketing efforts and supported by a successful search engine optimisation firm.
- We are now achieving increasing daily hit figures exceeding several hundred per day.
- We are seeing more and more booking enquiries for properties on our site.
- We also have in place an advertising campaign from May 2005 to cover several newspapers to include, The Sunday Times, Sunday Express and Villa Choice Magazine to name a few.

THE ENDING OF OUR FREE ADVERTISING PERIOD
On December 31st 2006 we shall end the free advertising period. Hoteliers who have not renewed their contract will still see their property listed however the online booking facility will be turned off.
We have revised our services and will be offering monthly payment terms, with an added option that you can suspend your account at ANY TIME. This means you will only pay for the time your property is live on our site and is calculated daily. Also to prove we are doing our job in bringing prospective clients to view your property, on December 31st 2006 we shall turn on our live statistics, enabling you to see how many visitors you are receiving.
Advertising rates:
SJC offers all Jamaican hoteliers the opportunity to advertise their property online no matter their star rating. Whether it is a 4 star resort to a country or town house for self catering, rented rooms, private villa, chalet, apartment or youth hostel, we endeavour to help each property have an equal opportunity in making their presence felt online.
Our efforts have lead to visitors using this site every year to find an accommodation within their budget and as with any online marketing campaign, we charge a fee for a chance to reach these people.
All contracts end either December 31 or March 31. After one full year of advertising with us, you are entitled to a pro-rated refund at any time on any unused portion of your payment.

Advertising space is also available on certain pages of the See Jamaica Cheaply in the form of column ads. They are situated on the right or left hand side of the highly popular "Contact Me", "Hotel Database" and "Hotel Reservation " pages and are an excellent way to reach new and repeat visitors.
